Course Facilities

The organization of the ICF Canoe Marathon World Championship 2009 is preparing the best conditions in Crestuma-Vila Nova de Gaia, to receive you and your team.

Major structures will be used in different areas as you can see in the picture above.

The Areas around the course

For this World Champioship there will be several different areas, and all of them will have access restrictions, that will be controled by your accreditation card.

In the racing course there will be two supporting offices, and one central office to receive you and your questions at any time, during the event.

As you can see in the picture of the facilities, the team`s area will be very close to the official water access. In this area your team will have individual nations boxes, with boat supports. Please remind that, all boat trailers and other supporting vehicles must be parked in the red area of the picture, and not in the team`s area.

All teams must request accreditation for the total number of vehicles that will be parked in this area.
